Mikki had always dreamed of having her own swing band, and in 2013 she began piecing together members to form a groovy sound unique to the sound she'd heard in her head. Mikki Daniel & Texas Wildfire range from a swingy, electric duo or an excitingly tight trio, to a well-versed and impressive young-blooded 6-piece. Formal members of the band are Mikki (rhythm guitar), Eric Vasquez (sax and keys), Jordan Brambila (fiddle), Glenn McLaughlin (lead guitar), Canyon Kafer (bass), and Mitch Albers (drums).
